Stanford U is using Facebook to engage students.

Twitter shouldn’t be used as another broadcast method. Try to find ways to get peers to collaborate.

Aardvark – ask a question, they find the perfect person to answer, and you get a response to your question.

Trying to develop a community of trainers – how do you build that community?
Ask questions constantly. Make sure that you are asking “challenging” questions. Leave a chunk of information out so that people have to respond.

Using social media allows the focus to move from the instructor and allows the students to be the experts.
